Post Fight with Steppenwolf
History:
Barry Allen AU: Bethany Allen.
Nothing much changes in regards to the history of Barry Allen, save that he instead was born a girl. Nora and Henry are still mom and dad. Bethany happily took dance lessons growing up while remaining a tomboy who likes getting into the dirt and playing rough. And, tragically, Mom still dies when she's young and her father is framed. She develops an obsession with forensic science and eventually goes to Central City College for forensic science with the hopes of joining the CCPD.
Eventually, she finds herself hunted down by none other than Bruce Wayne who asks her to help him and others defeat Steppenwolf and prevent him from obtaining all of the Mother Boxes. This proves to be very difficult as Steppenwolf is formidable and the group Bruce put together is quickly (but temporarily) defeated. They eventually revive Superman in the hopes that he'll help, getting caught up in a fight with a disoriented and angry Superman until eventually he remembers who he his, with the help of Lois Lane.
The entire team, now consisting of Wonder Woman, Superman, Batman, The Flash, Cyborg and Aquaman, discover Steppenwolfs plan to reunite the Mother Boxes in a small town in Russia. With Batman leading the Parademons away and taking down the shield surrounding Steppenwolfs location, Bethany is told to rescue the citizens of the nearby towns. She does so, with the help of Superman, even turning it into a bit of a competition with Beth pushing a truck and Superman carrying a whole building full of people, much to Bethany's delight and amazement.
Thankfully, Steppenwolf is finally defeated, his own fear causing his Parademons to attack him, giving Superman and Cyborg the chance to separate all of the Boxes and save the day.
It's a day or two after this where Bethany accepts Eli's offer and takes the Shuttle to New Dodge.
Does your character have any close ties to existing canon characters? To a degree, but not enough to worry about.
Why do you think your character would work in this setting?
Bethany is socially awkward, but also very prone to wanting to help. This is a settlement. This is a place where shit constantly happens. She will not hesitate to want to get her hands dirty and be the hero Bruce Wayne seems half-convinced she can be. Whether or not she's convinced remains to be seen, but there are people here. Decent people, and potentially family. She will do what it takes to keep the town safe and running.
How do you plan to expand their CR?
Again, she's socially awkward. But she has other hers here. She'll want to know who they know, and with that, she'll want to get to know the town in general and hope to god people are okay with how bad at finding peoples patterns and rhythms. Normal people are too slow for her, but if they can accept her for who she is, a quick thinking fast as hell girl, she can settle in and make friends. She needs friends.
What will your character do for work?
Probably work with deliveries somewhere. Other than that, I'm not entirely sure yet. Maybe see if there's a forensic science position somewhere.

A bag of clothes including her Flash suit, the batarang Bruce threw at her, a photo of herself and her parents before her mother died, an iPod full of K-pop, Imagine Dragons, and a variety of other music.
